At eighteen she moved to Aspen and began building her clientele of the rich and famous. After a few years she decided to set her sights higher and move to her parents hometown, New York City! She was accepted to Parsons School of Design in Manhattan so she packed up and moved to Brooklyn. While in school she was hired by Jane Packer London to teach and manage her New York Flower School.

Soon after she was presented with opportunities to design for numerous editorials and that is how alanarosedesigns began. Now in business for over 5 years, Alana and crew are working with clients from professional athletes to brides, magazines to philanthropists as well as other designers.

Freelancing with other designers has given her the opportunity to work at almost every venue in Manhattan, and most major US cities and to stay ahead of the trends. Unlike bigger design firms, Alana works with every client personally and is present at every event to make sure that her level of quality and perfection is carried out.
